Our love

The fog surrounds the trees 

like our love surrounds us. 

Holding tight what we knew 

would turn in to this thing of beauty. 

The falls from the sky and covers 

the earth like our warmth 

encloses our hearts.

What do we have here? 

Could it be true? 

Have I finally found the one? 

Will she be mine always? 

The strength we share 

has been forged by a 

love so pure. 

As I look in your eyes 

I see our future is bright. 

Our love grows stronger with 

each day that goes by. 

Your mine and I am yours 

until the day death separates us. 

Only you will I cherish 

day after day and night after night. 

I will whisper only your name.

We have waited a lifetime 

to find one another. 

No amount on time on earth will 

be worth enough with you

just to be by your side. 

I say we share our love

forever and always.

I absolutely love the meaning behind this. Very emotional. It describes someone who is love very well. I did see a couple grammatical errors, but other than that, great poem!

Very good poem; it's easy for people to relate to the context and the use of imagery is superb. I like the use of 'fog' to relate love to nature as it is a natural thing. I also really like the part 'falls from the sky' suggesting love is something from heaven. The only critique I would give is the simple literary mistakes: i.e. "your mine" should be "you're mine".
