Beautiful

This one is for my gf.

Since day one I have  known you were the one 

that I wanted to spend my life with.

When I saw you for the fist time my 

heart skipped a beat. 

You blew me away with just being you 

that I fell hard for you. 

Your beautiful and I love you 

always and forever I swear. 

No one is ever going to harm you now 

that I am near. 

Whether we lay in bed just cuddling or 

anything else I am happy just being with you. 

How could I get so lucky to have such 

an amazing woman as you. 

I look in your eyes and know 

that everything is ok. 

Our future is bright and I could not 

want anything more in this life 

more than it with you. 

No matter what age you are 

you will always be beautiful.

The last sentence, No matter what age you are you will always be beautiful.
I once said that to some girl who feel insecurity toward her long term boyfriend.
-_- she ended up tearing down saying that it is one of the most beautiful thing someone ever said to her. I just helped the dude's relationship last without him even knowing it.

Beautiful is right. This says so much pure and good emotion, and it flows very well. Has a sort of unique flow, even, the words and imagery are correct, and also work well.

Love is the best thing to write about, and the best thing to have.

Good job of writing a poem that would make any woman feel beautiful. Thru-out, there's a simple reverence that conveys an uncomplicated admiration. There are a few places where often-used phrases are used: "heart skipped a beat" and "our future is bright" for example. Always try to find a new way to say these things, that is the work of writing poetry, so it doesn't sound like the other 10,000 poems written about this same topic. Your message is earnest & true. I like this poem. It is very simply put, but conveys a multitude of ways you feel for her all at once.
