Listening to the acoustic version of "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead while writing poetry, so this came out of my pen onto paper!

Ace of Spades

It’s a game

Dancin’ with the devil

 

I was born to lose

Not wanting to live forever

Under unholy skies

Playing the ace of spades

 

It’s in your eyes

Only thing for those to see

 

Created in His image

Worshiping Him forever and more

In holy of skies

Playing the ace of spades

 

Seven always becomes my eleven

I don’t want to be your fool

 

Dying for our screw-ups

For we can have a relationship

Being connected with the Intelligent Creator

Playing the ace of spades

 

He gained our wrath for us to be saved
