Here Missing You

Here Missing You

A Poem by Eric Darsie
"

Right when the semester is ending and everyone is leaving for the summer, here's my thoughts on being "left alone."

Here Missing You

Sitting here in my locked room
With a book and iPod on shuffle
A song came on into my headphones
Had me thinking about you

I’m sittin’ here missing you
All the memories we share
Laughter and tears tied in with each other
Yet I’m sittin’ here missing you

Rainy days make me reminisce
Your photograph serves me well
I want to give you my wisdom
While take away your loneliness

Giving you the truth and all I had
Tried to be a open book for you
Honesty is the way I tried to walk
Along with living above approach for you guys

I’m sittin’ here missing you
Fighting with my tears
Remember all the fun times we share
Yet I’m sittin’ here missing you

I’m sittin’ here missing you
This past year I won’t trade away
I care for you too much and I love you
And I’m sittin’ here missing you
