Enough tears have been shed
Enough words have been said
But the violence still remains

So many rallies have been planned
So many marches have been banned
And we haven't had much gain

To many mothers have cried
To many sons have died
Yet we haven’t found a way

How many more can we take
How many lives are at stake
When racists rule the land

To much time has passed
To much promises cast
To believe the answer is near

So much hate on the streets
So much fear in the heat
When will we come together

Nothing in their hearts but desperation
Nothing in their minds but frustration
A life with no hope only fear

Time to think and reassess
Time to act and redirect
The actions of our fears

The day has come to understand
The day to kill our fellow man
Is over
