Ethereal Strife

Inspired by my story 'The Veil'.

The walls of reality crumble
New truths come to light
Demons try to make me stumble
But I will not give up this fight

Those that are not me
Do not understand this hell
They accuse and pursue me
Like these hounds of fel

Shattered perceptions and lives
Try to beat me down
But I shall persevere and thrive
I shall see this through now

Agents of the old way
Hunt me through the new
They shall not be dismayed
Even as my resolve is renewed

My angel guiding me through
Shielding me from the fire
Strengthening me anew
As I strive to take down the liar

My name is Alec Rho
I've been gifted by the light
I shall destroy the ways of old
But to do so, I shall have to fight
