YOU'RE WRONGA Poem by DarrieuxBEEN THERE....SURVIVEDwhen you finally reach that moment when you just cant push ahead,
And you finally hear your body just say “NO.”
You drop into the nearest chair, your work load still in red,….
You realize you’ve no place else to go.
Your clothes are clean but faded with a style that’s all their own
Your tennis shoes are marked with many miles…..
Cause if you have a dollar, it goes on your many friends
And you’d gladly give it all to see them smile.
Your muscles ache from overwork, your day is in a spin
You know you must get up and on your feet.
Your work day’s just beginning but you know you’ll never win
Cause it feels your bodies’ glued into the seat.
The laundry’s stacked in piles as it covers most the floor.
The timer on the oven screams your name
The cell phone won’t quit ringing lest you throw it out the door,
And the thought of one hot coffee seems insane.
I know the cost of loving and of loosing,
I know it isn’t easy being strong…..
I know it’s so much harder feeling no one understands…….
Just wanna say “I’m here” and that “your wrong“…..
