Are you there

Are you there

A Poem by Darksummerswind
"

Is anyone out there?

"

Are you there,

I cannot find you.

Where are you?

You can be seen,

yet not touched.

Tears streak down your face,

and you slowly fade away.

Don't go,

don't leave me,

I don't want to be alone.

Your hand reaches out to me,

I go to grab it.

But it disappears,

and you are gone,

leaving me all alone,

alone to cry.

When reading this I had a clear image in my head which was simply wonderful! Usually when I read poetry I need to read it over and over to get an image in my head but with this poem it just came as I read each word. I, as well as many others, have probably been in the same place as this. It's easy to relate to and very simple to understand. Yet, it is complex in ways. Beautiful piece! Well done!

Beautiful... I know the feeling to be looking for someone. It sucks and all that is left to do is cry.

Love the idea and wounder it does remind me of looking in a reflection. Nicely done.

I like this. Feel a slight tention around my heart ...I feel for that, almost, silent dispair.
