My Beloved's Sorrow

My Beloved's Sorrow

A Poem by Darkheart
"

Blegh.

"
How can I continue to love when my beloved weeps?
Such a tragedy this is, her tears of blood.
Her delicate skin, scarred by pain and torment.
She watched my demise unfold. Agony falls upon me as I hear her speak
"I love you" for the final time. As darkness falls upon me, I feel her caressing my corpse.
As I depart, I watch her weep over my body.
I leave her in such a terrible state of dread.
Her eyes turn red with rage.
She grasps my dagger from my hand, and together we are again.
