Bruised and beaten 
She hurts inside and out
Smile put in place 
But it hurts to breath 
Holding her breath until she bursts
She gave all she had and got broken
She looks for help within 
But she is long gone 
And has been for a while 
She is lost within her own being 
She finds escapes
but they don't last
