WaitingA Poem by Dark PoetThe feeling of missing someone had become painfully familiar. So she picked up a green pen, Hoping writing some words might make the lonliness wither
Behind closed windows the sky was bruised
She felt too comfortable in the dark, As she laid on a bed with her skin exposed Thinking about a poem with roses The feeling of missing someone had become painfully familiar So she picked up a green pen Hoping writing some words might make the lonliness wither She still dug a fingernail across her arm again Behind Blue Eyes was playing She couldn't help singing along Would she ever be as beautiful as a song? She might never stop waiting © 2015 Dark PoetAuthor's Note
