Memories

A Poem by Wraith

A pang of guilt,
A twinge of regret.
Then as soon as it's started,
You start to forget.

What was it that happened?
What led you here?
The path was in front of you,
It seemed oh so near.

Yet now as you look back,
Thinking how it was so clear.
You couldn't cast off doubt,
Couldn't dispel fear.

So now you suffer,
Anguish as of late.
You wish you could change it,
You wish they would stay.

They're gone for good,
But they wish it wouldn't end this way.
You can't help but feel filled with regret.
Yet as soon as it started,
You start to forget.

About
You don't need eyes to see. You don't need ears to hear. You don't need touch to feel. At the same time you can be blind and yet have eyes. You can be deaf and yet have ears. You can not feel and yet .. more..
