The knife was dug deep,
It's blade, my corpse to keep. The fault is my own, My actions don't condone. This sin of sacrifice, This waste of another life. As my greed fled with my soul, Her words echoed hollow. A penny for a dime, You're out of luck, Out of time. As your lies turn to ash. You'll be but a forgotten ghost, Of a forgotten past. Oh look! the light awaits... Not the gentle glow of heaven's gates. This shines fiercely, much like fire. What irony, I should lose all! The cause? Why, Desire. © 2015 Wraith |
