Rain

Rain

A Poem by Wraith

What's wrong?
Why do they cry?
Why do men wither?
Why do men die?

What's right you should ask.
Why do they smile?
Why flourish and grow?
Just to be buried below.

Those below thirst.
Nothing to drink more than dirt.
We cry for our pain.
But to them it is rain.

Do they see us from there?
Do they drink up our tears?
Do they laugh at our pain?
Do they dance in the rain?

No that can't be right.
They envy our plight!
But rejoice at the sight!
How lovely our struggles! Pure delight!

For we weep and we cry,
For we know we will die.
But for now we live!
What a glorious sight!

They find joy in our passing,
Peace everlasting.
For we live as they did.
We struggled as they did.
But for what?
To this they are laughing.

You don't need eyes to see. You don't need ears to hear. You don't need touch to feel. At the same time you can be blind and yet have eyes. You can be deaf and yet have ears. You can not feel and yet .. more..
