Childhood Magic

Childhood Magic

A Poem by Cristal Bridges
"

Just a little childish haiku

"

Raindrops like magic,

Can turn children's daydreaming,

Into dewy stars.

Whoever it is, they must miss their childhood. Have you ever noticed? 'Childhood' was hardly related to 'Sadness' and 'Adulthood' is hardly related to 'happiness'.. :(

A wonderful haiku, well done.

Keep writing.

If we all but kept the wondrous magic of innocence within us, I think the world would be a much better place. I think poets are the ones who hold on to some degree of magic, but it's always tinged with the stark sadness of reality.

Ah! The innocence of babes.

Great job!
