Forever True

Another religious poem I wrote

Troubled heart,

Here we go again.

Drowning in,

This life of sin.

Blackened and burned,

Hanging by severed strings.

I wish there was a way,

To change such things.

I can tell you dear one,

There is a simple way.

Just give your heart to Jesus,

On this very day.

He will heal the sorrow,

He can take away the pain.

With the devil you can’t win,

With the Lord you have all to gain.

He died on The Cross for you,

Don’t ever doubt dear one,

That The Lord’s love is forever true.
