Celestial Skin

Celestial Skin

A Poem by Cristal Bridges

Darkness sweeps across my arms,

Like cobwebs from the ceiling,

Making me shiver in my celestial skin,

As I dance these cobblestone streets.

This new obsidian coat,

Wraps around me smoothly,

Fitting so tight like a silk glove,

Forming to all the right places.

I hold it tight to my chest,

Breathing in deep the scent,

Of dew drops and comet dust,

That mingle with moon beams.

Take me in your night arms,

Seduce me as you wish ,

With those cold onyx hands,

That slide smooth across pale skin.

Turn me into a night walker ,

Deem me to do your bidding,

Until this world awakens,

And I go back to being human.
