When I Get to Heaven

Over the past couple of years I've gotten back in tune with my faith and I have written a bunch of Christian Inspirational poetry. I hope you like it.

I’m not a fairy princess,
I’m not a ruling queen.

But, when I get to Heaven,

I’ll sit beside The King.

I don’t have the perfect body,

I don’t have the prettiest face.

But, when I get to Heaven,

I’ll shine with His Grace.

I don’t have the greatest job,

I may not always lead.

But, when I get to Heaven,

I’ll have everything I need.

I don’t live in a great house,

I don’t drive the hippest car.

But, when I get to Heaven,

I’ll be a shining star.

I may not always be kind,

I may not always be sweet.

But, When I get to Heaven,

I’ll bow down at His feet.

I may not always know the answers,

I may not always live right.

But, when I get to Heaven,

I know my soul will burn bright.
