A Bargain with God

A Bargain with God

A Poem by Satoshi IroTzu

What is life
but a bad dream if unlucky.
Or a sweet dream if blessed.
Tonight I lay myself to sleep
and I hope tomorrow the world ends.

My heart is filled with pain.
Filled with sorrow.
Too much melancholy inside of me
but I will be awake in the morning.
And a day after, and a day after.
All I care for is my soul.
And for a mortal life there is always hope.

the last line speaks for itself, there are endless hopes for a person to do despite the many pains that come along. Keep the faith and you will not lose the way.
