Return to Oblivion

A dagger departed from depths of the shadows

to creep onto me , but through my senses

I can see its arrival , it closes onto me

Lingering above my head

I`m still 

stripped of sudden moves that might evoke my death

All I can do is to throw a glare around

my pupils search for salvation

ears harken for hidden answers

but I`m enveloped in the shadows

alone in the dank and cold

Lingering dagger descends 

the drop is closer than ever

Pain shuts my eye lids

I detach only to depart

to where I was sent from

I return to the oblivion
