The Street CycleA Poem by Satoshi IroTzuDedicated to my childhood friends.I was a sweet child of seven when my sixteen year old brother left Earth for Heaven On streets I rose had tons of fun and laughter with warm-hearted but evil brewing boys As always in life, the time moved on and we scattered nostalgia washed over me, I wanted us back and together Age arrived now I`m twenty, bright and wise all of my vast compassion from my past continued to rise as I witnessed a lack of humanity through my deep brown eyes What hurt me the most people mangled one another thrived when they anchored a fellow man in the gutter My brother`s friends never took steps to approach me or offered a help to a child I riled but to see them struggled in this hell I chose to feel with them My childhood comrades showed me care and love for early I befriended death so it was my duty and honor to cherish you, and never forget Now... sit by me, old friend I shall reach you I`ll teach you to upgrade thy self so you can breath in better tomorrow so your family can live with honor
