Roller coaster

Roller coaster

A Poem by Satoshi IroTzu

What is life but hopes and dreams weaved in a smile
a youthful spry with a spirit of wild
a theater of long frowns and warm tears
all of it penned to paper by memory
that is stored in good and bad years
and, finally, a touch of gold for the end
inevitable divorce of body and soul by death

The words were powerful and true. I liked them. I liked the use of the roller coaster. Gave strength and reason for the poem. A honest ending to the excellent poetry.

Very thought provoking, very touching as well, but that could be my age making me feel a comradery with your words. One thing though, that touch of gold for the end is really gray Ha! Ha!
Bravo! I love this one :~)
