I miss Future

I miss Future

A Poem by Satoshi IroTzu

Sun spreads over sterile streets
Floors forced to glisten
Rays reach filthy alleys
I look to find but no hungry bellies
I watch speedy cars bullet by
They abandoned fear to wreck
I putter history books
Forgotten is illness and plague
I spy on couples that feed their inquiry
Data valid on the screen
Few of them stood united
Rest for their soul-mate stream
I witness an awe but it feels low
It is state of ancient to be amazed
A Disappointment and a betray caved without a trace
My eyes focus unearthly races
Their culture warms my heart
Unique yet strange and alike
Worlds in a world trigger my interest to stay on dart

Some nice stuff. Good blend of history and present to imply the future. I like "It is state of ancient to be amazed" because it seems that's a good thing, but maybe it's not. But perhaps it should be. Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate your time you took to write this informative review.
These are my types of poetry. dark. morbid. I love it so much. It really dispicts what the world was once like, is like, and will be like.
