Cupid.

Cupid.

A Poem by Darknessmymuse.

Hold my wings, will you?
Let me dress up in white
So my image screams 'purity'
Let me cut open my wounds
So they radiate light
Let me wear my halo
On the tip of my invisible horns,
Let me paint my black heart gold,
Camouflage my thorns,
Wear the fragrance of flowers
And chocolate and kisses.
Now give me my wings, love,
And heart tipped arrows from my closet
So I can destroy yet another life,
Shatter yet another soul,
Mesmerize them with possibilities
And burn them to their bones.
