Father

Father

A Poem by Frozen.

Father.
Dear Father.

I hate you
If you died today
I'd just smile as you rot away

You broke me down
Past nothing left
What you did was more than a theft
You broke my mind
You shattered my frequencies

Because of you
I hate everything I am
I almost believe you
When you say how worthless I am

You broke me
But some part of me
Still lives
In this cocoon of hatred
Waiting….
To be fixed

Wow this is a powerful peice..your words are very vivid..i dont always get along with my dad..i guess its more of the fact that i dont understand him..he's very radical and unpredictable..so i can relate a lil to where this may be coming from..but i dont think i would ever say that i hate him..he has done alot of things to my mother and 'us' kids in the past and present..but i still know that i love him even when he verbally expresses how he thinks i will fail at everything i do..it hurts but thats y i surround myself with people that help me and make me feel good about being me..this poem captured my attention from the begining to end and it made me wanna read on..i enjoyed the read...
