In the Corner On the Phone.

In the Corner On the Phone.

A Poem by Andrea L. Cox
"

It's about a shocking experiences. Enjoy

"

She sits there in the corner.

She reaching for the phone.

She pulls back her hand,

Her time is like a hourglass sand.

Curling over with tears,

All her fears become real.

She goes into shame,

I should have know better,

I should have thought it out,

I  should have.

I should have is all she thinks.

As her life goes down the sink.

Her dad comes in, "  Are you ok?"

She smiles and says "  yes, I need to use the phone"

He leave her room,

Her tears fall from her face as she cries.

The phone rings once,

twice,

thrice.

"  Hello, you there"  he says,

Her tears fall down her cheeks

"  I had fun last week"  he says,

She takes a breath.

"""' I'm pregnant"  she says,

The line goes dead.

This must be the end.

.
