Within a Dream

Love Lost.

She watches you,

unable to know,

that she now decides

Whether to go.

 

It’s not your fault,

You try to believe

and to understand,

What made her leave?

 

The morning kiss,

The furrowed brow,

The shared laughs

You wonder how.

 

how that one night,

And that last kiss

Sweet and simple

Could lead to this.

 

Curled at the window

In the moons sad beam

he embraces her once again,

Within a dream.
