My cross

It keeps me safe

When it is in place

On its chain

It is a special thing

 

It makes fear

So less near

I’m free

Because it helps me

 

It is my channel

To the higher power

In the sun

Or in rain shower

 

It makes me smile

If I’m sad for awhile

It helps me through my day

It is nice, to have a cross anyway
