Perspective

New eyes

Open to a new world,

Full of adventure;

Full of wonder.

Old eyes

Open to a world of insight,

Past experiences,

A life well spent.

Bright eyes

Open to a clean world,

Devoid of human sin;

To a pure mind.

Dark eyes

Open to a world of fear,

A place where no light dares to venture;

To the darkest of minds.

My eyes

Open to the life that I lead,

To a perspective that is truly mine.

To lead a life different from what is expected. To do what you want to do. The different eyes which set the world trying to make everyone's eyes see the same thing whilst you strive to have your eyes different and see what other people fail to recognize. Lovely message if I got it right. I love poetry like this. Keep up the good writing.
