a certain order people follow

meant to be broken

Something you're not used to, no?

break the flow of this piss

the flow of the river

free your mind

free from

the illusion of patterns

break the social norms

Creativity is beauty

like a rose

thorns on a rose

hurtful beauty

like a nagging Miss America

creativity is a rose

beauty is the mind

roses are freedom

in a glass vase

What if nature was ugly?

would our minds still think of it as pretty

or would we ignore the outside, and paint unnatural objects

what if the spacing of this poem caught you off-guard?

what if the lines were just getting larger and larger and larger and larger

like a giraffe

Let me tell you a story about

rabbit hole

into madness

oh I'm sorry, does this annoy you?

What if rain poured on you just now?

Would you not like that?

would you rather have the flakes of wondrous white

snow

Rain is snow

like a rose is freedom

well actually rain is our snow, us people who live in sunny sunny sunny

I'm sure it snows in other places in California

break free from what the media tells you to do

listen to me instead

or celeb news

or reality shows

or Yoda

no wait Yoda's wise

listen to Yoda

but the media and social expectations shouldn't be your limits

I mean if you want a job, then be a boring a*s normal person

but being yourself is cool too

unless you're a

I think this is a piece that signals the ability you have to create works that don't necessarily rely on shock value. This had great lyrical flow and the lay out works but lost me later at all the cliche references.. Apologies for honesty and feel free to add input to any of my work..curtsy bow..
