Echo of Death

hear the chimes of death...

The deep vibrating sound of the bell
resonates through my soul
echoes of emptiness and despair
My head sunk low
a still, black figure in the rain
dripping sadness
One last chime, the finality hits me
though the sound fades
the echo of death lasts forever
