I was happy but now it’s gone

I felt the warmth but now I am cold.

I enjoyed the freedom but now imp a prisoner

I put myself out there and loved all I could

In return I got all the pain that herself could give

What did I do wrong?

What did I do to earn this disaster?

I’ve done nothing, nothing to deserve such a travesty

This pain and anguish is beating on an already crippled heart

Its tearing apart what little emotions I muster up day to day

I really don’t know what I can do to make things change

All I can do is live and live. There is simply no other way.
