We are...A Chapter by Dr. S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.We each are human, we each will steal, each will lie, each will hurt someone and make them cry. We each shall beg for something we can never have, and each of us will delay leaving in the bad. We each shall be a sinner, a loser, a stoner, a drinker, a rapper, a smoker, a murderer, and a man. For when we started, our teachers taught us how to kill, how to loss, how to have sex, how to live. We Killed a man on a cross, stole his life, threw stones on his body, sinned for wanting him dead. We kill off the sinner, we stop the smoker, we hurt the loser, we rock the stoner, and we are winners. We judge for other people, never give them a chance, sometimes our own words leads us to dance. We grow old, our body’s weaken, our hair converts to white, and we are rapt waiting to die. All right. Is that the life you want for us? To grow old and look like a demon with you? Let us die and be reborn. That is my answer, my two cents in these thorns. Reach in, they will cut and poison, just to be a penny richer. Your life was worth so much more, why did you use it only to ruin an alternative. For what if he was you. Would you like to die by your own hand? I estimate that’s why we get so many who suicide by their hand. Each of us are the same person, just in different thoughts, different wishes, do we each not bleed or die? Each of us have a dream, each of us want to sing. When we are killed we’ll still feel. We will walk, and Talk, we well dance and sing, we will come back to this Earth in a way of us sleeping in a happy dream. Don’t kill me here, for next time I might return and take you by rhyme. The more you kill me, The more I return. The more I return the worse you will die. Each time I will cut you up, cook your bones and boil your eyes. Who am I? Don’t you remember? You killed me, Each time. That I Surrendered. © 2011 Dr. S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.Featured Review
