Loneliness

Loneliness

A Chapter by Dr. S. D. Blankenship DDiv., PhD., MA.

Loneliness

Love that is very often found,

Only by those that know love

Never see love the way it was

En-tended to be. I do so hope

Love finds each of us, but

I know that this thing shall

Never happen to us the ones

Everyone laughs amongst

So I say to you friend do not

Say you love me, if not.

And yet again, another very fine poem, how is it you can write so well. I really must know. I love this one just as much as the others. Loneliness should never be taken lightly. and if anyone thanks other wise I will be knocking on their door ASAP I am ready for battle you know? I really do want to know the secret to your writing. Its just so vivid and alive I feel as though I was actually talking to a lonely man, your not are you? I read the poem about the girl I liked it.

Outstanding.

Yes, we all need to be loved.
ALL OF US.
It bothers me deeply that we (society)
appear to decide who is worthy of love,
and who isn't.
It's heartbreaking...

Nice work Shawn :)

The words 'I love you' are sometimes used too casually, without thinking through the true meaning of the word. Like mentioned above, love is also a verb and relationships require a lot of work. You certainly put a lot of work into this poem!
