The Blacest Gift

The Blacest Gift

A Poem by Moonlight

It is a night of sorrow, a song of ethereal pain, the dark one rises. Mist shrouds her pale form, a timeless desire.
Her midnight hair cascades over her pale delicate shoulders, & her scarlet lips part slightly to taste the blood streaming from the pale flesh beneath her.
Now a night of darkness, i awaken.

I saw everything so vividly. Plus, I love the word "ethereal", especially when it's used in an ironic, contrasting kind of way. So for these reasons, I love it.
