Ndiyakhutanda

A Poem by Dark Tower
"

You.

"
I've held you a thousand times
And I've thought about all your flaws
I've kept everything in mind
But still can't stop the fall
So glad that I can call you mine
Nothing to me matters more
I love being the one you adore
In the moments that you smile at me
Happy is all I can be
And when you're standing next to me
I lose all my grip on reality
If you love me now then forever darling
My heart will be yours
Gravity couldn't pull you from me
Cupid knows what I have instore

I would hold you, no matter what
They can be jealous, some even mad at us
When I'm down, thoughts of you take me up
You are the high, that always gives my heart a rush
You are the dream, that always my insides blush
You are the taste, of which I never get enough

I once said a prayer to myself
Wished that God would show me how to feel love
Then you made me feel warmer than the ovens top shelf
I had to figure Cupid was standing above
Or maybe I doubted it until you gave me that hug
The feelings I get from you
Nothing else could ever do

You are precious beyond anything I've ever had
The thought of losing you is an idea I don't want to have
The mere thought is scary like making you sad
Blow a kiss
Send a hug
Need your affections so bad
