Warm Wrath

Warm Wrath

A Poem by Dark Tower

I wake up and try to think about you
But you're memories are gone
My head feels empty without you
Just like you, they've moved on
But I just can't seem to get there
Throw my temper everywhere
Started to lose hair
Why isn't this fair?
Stressed to the point happy me is found nowhere

Please give me one more kiss for pain
Just one more to help with the memories
One more embrace to try and make you feel the same
I've got so tired of playing these games
But you're eager to lift your snake eyes and roll again
We love to argue
You say my role in this is entertainment
Or maybe I just feel it and you haven't needed to say it

I'm afraid to tell you
I still hold love
Afraid to tell you
How I've prayed for your happiness from above
Or maybe I pray below
With every fond memory
Anger is closely tied and entwined by a thin rope
To hell with hope
I'd rather go to hell
And watch my feelimgs for you go up in smoke

Amazing and powerful words shared my friend.
"Anger is closely tied and entwined by a thin rope
To hell with hope
I'd rather go to hell
And watch my feelings for you go up in smoke"
I do understand the above lines. I hold on to many. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
