Perfection

Perfection

A Poem by Dark Tower

Walking Perfection

You sit there
Blank faced
Not saying a thing to me
It isn't fair
That life is fleeting
Because I need an eternity
Of waking up everyday
Knowing that you
Are mine and I am yours

Sometimes I wonder
If it's all a dream
And one day I'll have to wake up to you leaving
You say you love
But dreams can be decieving

I've tossed and turned at nights
Caught between a prayer and a dream
Never before has God answered me
Until he brought me you
I don't know if things are what they seem

Your smile
Gives angels new life
Life is only beautiful
Because you're in it
I measure your beauty
Between impossible and infinite
You are the hope
That God left humanity
Your laughter is the reason
We have gravity
You are everything you are
Because you are perfect
