![]() EternityA Poem by Dark TowerEternity
Just a little touch Gentle as can be A twist of fate A curb of destiny And before we can blink our eyes You are standing in front of me Two friends Daring to hope for something more Linking hands willing take on together what ever the world has in store Lips touch He pulls her close He can taste the longing on her lips She wants this almost as much As he He tingles unexpectedly
He can not let go A kiss both fast And beautifully slow New light is shone upon his world She is not just a woman She is so much more He wants her all to himself She is a bundle of everything he could ever adore
All of his life He never needed anyone But with just one kiss All of those days are gone How could he have lived without her For so long? They know they should stop But their kiss feels like the breathe of life And if they stop then surely they'll both drop Dead A billion thought run through his head They're all about her
My love You give me strength He whispers it in his mind If I lost you My world would stop spinning And I'd surely float Into the abyss of space And I Love you more than I could ever say I'd carve my declaration of love for you on the tablet of time Because it is eternal I can't think of time before Can't dream of time after Addicted to your smile Intoxicated with your laughter Driven crazy by your kiss We're all apart of this world But yours is the only piece I'd miss
Your love is the missing piece of my heart Slot it in place And give me the strength to fly
You're the evening star I admired from a far Bathed in moonlight Your smile glows A deeper longing Than I have ever known A precious moment I have your light Enjoying it all on my own Here in my arms Is where you will always belong
I could never hurt you It would kill me to see you cry Every second you're not smiling A small part of me dies
I live to please you And in doing so Bring joy to my heart Because your happiness is the blood, which in it flows
