Hope Ever Present

Hope Ever Present

A Poem by Dark Tower

Hope Ever Present

It's hot

Or maybe it's cold

Can she see I'm shivering?

I hope not

I can do this

No I can't I'm scared

Can she tell

Or is she thinking the same thing in her head?

Hand touches waiste

Lip touches lip

And my whole world implodes in

I can barely control my breathing

I'm doing everything I can

But for some way shape or reason

She's got me beaten

Her arms wrap around me

Forget skipping beats

My heart straight up stopped beating

Feels like we're suspended in air

Floating over any worries, reasons or cares

Feel as high as the moon

While she's here holding me

A small part of me knows better than to hope

But I can't control myself

I want to wrap her in an embrace that can't be broke

All you have to do is tell me what to say

To make you put your lips on me again

I'd do anything

I'd stop this world spinning

And let everyone who does'nt believe in us float off of it

Rain a firestorm on anyone caused you offence

I've got a reputation

I know it

But you know the real situation

You know in me there's something more

For those who have the patience

And understand that the me that they see

They might know B

But I want you to know me.

Hope is all we have sometime.

If we don't seek places of joy and happiness. What have we become? A powerful poem my friend. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
