Always Be There

There will eventually come a day
When I leave this earth
And as a sweet scent in the wind
My life is blown away

But you should know
That I will still not have left you on your own
My memories and my love for you will manifest into a small badge
That you can pin in your heart on the day we part
That way you'll always know you're not alone
Every tear you shed
Will be a mirror reflection of my own
Even in the company of God I'd cry
I'd be miserable around his angels too
Because it could never be heaven without you

I wouldn't want you to cry
Not for me
Because everyday of life spent with you
Is worth two
In heaven

You're crying
I'm right next to you
Telling you I love you
And wiping away your tears. And some how through all the sobbing and sighing
You keep replying
We're having a baby
And you keep shying away from me
You keep expecting me to lose my composure and go crazy
Something explodes in me
And throw my hands at you so quickly you barely see it coming
My arms wrap around you
You scream in fright
Your instincts kick in, its flight or fight
But I'm just holding you, kissing your tears
And telling you that's all going to be alright
This baby is a blessing not a curse
And for some its unattainable
But we were blessed
And now the love I feel for you is not containable

And if you ever had to call
I'd be there
They say life isn't fair
But it is for me when you're here

I love you you love me
It's that simple when it's meant to be
Common as it sounds you and I are destiny
Through all the ups and downs the smiles and the frowns
We'd turn this world upside down
Just to be back each others arms
Thats the charm, when you know you've met that special someone
Who's your evening moon and your morning sun

You're that happy thought that gives me the strength to continue on this journey of life
You're that funny thought that always keeps smiling
You're the logic that keeps grounded
You're the wings that keep me flying
You're that strength that lets me push on
You're the hope that keeps me strong
You're the little voice that tells me wrong from right
Simply put, you're the love of my life
A joy and a blessing is what you are
Every star in the sky, is just a jealous angel admiring you from a far
