Mommy Please Don't GoA Poem by Dark TowerMommy Please Don't Go
Mommy Look at me Please I'm begging you just look at me I don't want to forget your face Because with all I've lost that's all that's left to me Mommy Please just tell me why you're doing this I'm only four years old, am I really that much of nuisance? Is it because I ignored you yesterday when you said it was time for bathing? Is it because when I was supposed to be sleeping I was upstairs laughing? Mommy I'll listen next time I swear Mommy Please don't leave me, I'm scared Who's going to tuck me in if you're not there? I'll promise I'll do everything you say See, I'm even brushing my hair Mommy please don't walk away I'm on knees, the stones are hurting, but I really want you to stay I'm confused You said you loved me yesterday What changed today? What did I do to make you feel this way? I'm not mad mommy You need a better a son Don't worry, I understand. Before you leave can I at least have a moment to hold your hand?
