Not Alone

Not Alone

A Poem by Dark Tower

Not Alone

The pressure keeps building up
He feels like giving up
Everywhere he looks the dark clouds gather
And the rain of depression gently splatters

Looks in the mirror his reflection looks different now
Eyes are sunken in
Shoulders hunched
Fist clenched
Eyes closed
Hands join
Family apart
Knees bent
All his time is spent
On his knees
Praying to God
Praying that he wont be alone
He feels so cold
The weight of feelings
Kept deep within to remain eternally untold

A light flashes
So bright
And out of the light
Comes a twice halod angel
Her gentle eyes
Bring tears to his
She extends a hand
He takes it
Her touch so soft and gentle
A part of him fears he might break it
In the second that her skin first makes contact
He instantly know
That he'll never be the same
The savagery of his heart
Calmed and tamed
