Ripples

Ripples

A Poem by Dark Tower

Ripples

A friendly smile

A warm greeting

Eyes lock

Intensity felt

A quicken in pace

To the rhythm of the hearts beating

Hands join

Fingers meet

Nerves scream

At the gentle nature of the touch

Trees grow

Seeds fall

Rivers flow

Birds call

Seeds become shrubs

Shrubs become trees

Seeds fall

And are moved by the gentlest breeze

The smallest change

The most random happening

Change the course of destiny.

A smile can save a life

A life can cause a smile.
