Say It Again

Say It Again

A Poem by Dark Tower

Say It Again

That first moment you said you loved me

I felt this heavenly warm glow

I felt something stir within me

Each syllable out of your mouth ever so slow

My sun rises and sets with you

You are in my heart regardless what I say or do.

I feel like I'm living in deja vu

and its all because of you

Suddenly I can see it

A future for us

If you're willing to believe it

I know that right now its just a dream

If you take my hand right now

I can show you our love is more than it seems

With each kiss I want you to feel

That our love is real.

But then the dream starts to fade....

We open our eyes and wake....

You realise it was just a mistake.

You apologise to my expressionless face

I smile and tell you not to worry as you walk away.

Alone, I go insane

Succumb to the pain

“I love you”

I want to hear you say it again

This time I just want to know

Is it true?

When someone who love us for real speak words of love. Make us come alive and be thankful to be alive. I like the story. Good to know the different between story and real love. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
