Sunrise

Sunrise

A Poem by Dark Tower

Sunrise

When the sun rises

Will I still have your love?

When the sun rises

Will you still remember the colour of my eyes?

When the moon is gone and our clothes are on

Will you still find time to call?

I don’t wanna be a one night stand

I wanna experience all the love clichés with you

I wanna run down the holding your hand

I want you to tickle me until I cant stand

I wanna fill albums with the times we’ve had

I wanna sit with you and a watch the storm

I wanna only smile when I’m in your arms

When the sun rises

Will you still feel the same?

When the sun rises

Will you still remember my name?

When the sun rises

Will the love give way to pain?

When the sun rises

Will I be all alone again?

I don’t wanna be a one night stand

I wanna experience all the love clichés with you

I wanna run down the holding your hand

I want you to tickle me until I cant stand

I wanna fill albums with the times we’ve had

I wanna sit with you and a watch the storm

I wanna only smile when I’m in your arms

Thank You Afra
A powerful and beautiful poem. Feel like words for a song. I like the flow of words and the repetition. Made the poem stronger. Questions of love are answered with time and life together. Thank you for the excellent poem.
