Promise

Im not sure what this is exactly, but it just came out of me.

What felt right, now feels wrong, the love we had is all gone, spent so much time trying to hold on, my heart sang when you called me, I love the way you never call me Bee, and when we kissed both our eyes were open so eager to just to see, each kiss made it feel like we were one with our destiny. We fought hard, but I miss you, we went far, each fight was just another bush that we pulled through

 

You always told me I’d make it

You genuinely believed in me

I appreciated your support because everyone else just faked it

I swore I’d love you forever

A promise I made with my heart and my heart will stop beating the day I break it

 

I remember the first time I saw you, walked to you from across the room, just another dumb kid trying to look cool, said stupid things to impress you, you laughed at me and called me a fool, but a nicer fool than you were used too, you gave me your number and said to call soon, the smile you flashed made me think about you until the moment I called you from home

Had quite a temper and you were the only one who knew how to soothe it, kissed me gently and told me I had a big heart and pains you that I don’t often use it, but I told you I was scared because the bigger something is the more people abuse it, you laughed again, the one sound I love so much more than heavenly music
