OK, thanks...I figured it out and started at the beginning. I was only able to read the first 5 pages today, but I see now where it all originated. I think you are developing the characters nicely, and you have an interesting story. My favorite part so far, is your opening and description of Lacie's life-it's very heart-breaking. The part about Sarah and Alex seemed a little rushed to me. I think in some areas you are trying to cover a lot of information with very few paragraphs. That is my only criticism (and you've left out words here and there :). I do like your style and I will keep reading as time allows.

Thanks. I will definitely work on the Sarah and Alex parts. I thought at first I should try keep that short as possible, but if you think you can use more substance I will make the additions.
