Wave Goodbye

Wave Goodbye

A Poem by Dark Tower

Wave My Goodbye

There comes a time

When all the pain and anger has to stop

Time to draw that line

The one we use define exactly what one means to other.

If you think I’m going to change my mind again, I can promise you I wont

Because one second you love me the next you don’t

It’s not real love if can be taken back

I love, its true

But cannot spend the rest of my life listening you

Tired of never feeling good enough

Don’t bother saying you love me

Because I instinctively call your bluff.

You once said that things with us never change

But now all I hear is anger every time you say my name

And in the end I have to ask myself if you are really worth the pain.

They say love is a string, why does yours feel like a chain?

Say sorry?

Of course you can, but we both know you’ll just do it again

I could say I never loved you, and that I haven’t for a while

But it would be a lie, I still hold memories of you in the wake of smile

The way every time you got mad it didn’t nothing make me smile

There used to be a time when you could just repeat your apologetic line

It wouldn’t help you s**t time, I still fantasize about drowning you in cyanide

This time it’s not just a matter of pride, I’m moving on and leaving you and your attitude problems behind.

Nothing too dramatic, won’t wave goodbye to you while standing in the rain

Keep those pictures safe

They are the only way you will ever see my again
