A Poem by Dark Tower

Relative

Hello brother

Remember the first day we meet?

I’m still trying to recover

I burnt your things and threw them in the waste bin

You came back and I almost died of strangulation

I look back at it now and I’m laughing

You were always there for me regardless of what was happening

Even after all of the fights

Arguing over who’s wrong and who’s right

At the end of it all

All I had to do was call and you were there Bro.

In a field of enemies

You were my scarecrow

I am so proud

Could never replace you with another

No problem screaming this aloud

I love you brother.

Hello Sister

How are you?

I kind of feel bad

You’re always the one I complain too

But its only because you’re so good listening

Even when you know I’m just moaning

You still laugh and you smile and we just joke for a while

About my groaning

And whenever I’m writing

And I hit the wall

You are the only who knows what to do when I call

Never too gentle

But not harsh at all

No matter where you are

You are a superstar

A joy and a blessing sister

That’s what you are.

Hello You

Your Uncle hasn’t forgotten you

I think it’s so cool that you hi-5

You are the vision of what joy looks like alive

Daddy’s little girl

Mommy’s special angel

 .
